Unkown Artist on Gerrard Street

gerrard-2Contributed by Pete Lovering. If you have ridden your bike westbound on Gerrard you might have noticed this unknown artist installation. I have noticed many of these, 4-inch by 18-inch, panels banded to the hydro poles over the years. The full installation of the Car themed pieces are on almost every pole on Gerrard. Unfortunately, boneheads have vandalized and tagged many of them.

 
I love these. Once you are aware of them you see them everywhere. I’d love to know who the artist is? Are they are doing this elsewhere in the city? Please get in touch.
