Contributed by Sarah Cook and Jennifer Torres. Todd Vesby, proprietor of F’Amelia Restaurant, put together a splendid evening in support of Winchester Jr. Sr. Public School on Monday January 21, 2019.
Numerous parents, teachers and community members came together for a great cause. They shared a glass of wine and some of F’Amelia’s best menu favourites together. It was so great to see the community come out on this freezing-cold January night, when most are hibernating from the frigid temperatures after the holidays.
A big thank you goes out to Todd for luring us out for a such a great event! Over $6000 was raised for Winchester Public School and will go towards funding much needed school programs and activities. All the fantastic wines & prosecco, the delicious pizza, amazing selection of cheeses, risotto and gnocchi & so much more…were all donated by Todd – along with his lovely venue. Noble Estate Winery sponsored the event as well, ensuring that everyone there had a wonderful time. We hope this evening becomes an annual event.
