PUMPKIN PARADE

Pumpkin-Parade-image-Oct-18-IMG_6194---potential-bannerContributed by Carolyn Jarman. Show up, show off and shine on one more night. The 6th annual Cabbagetown Pumpkin Parade is held every November 1st from 5-9pm in Riverdale Park West.  This fun filled evening is a fantastic opportunity to compare costumes, show off your carving techniques and discuss the number of Trick or Treater’s with your neighbours.

The Pumpkin Parade is a great way to see your pumpkin shine one on more evening.  Kids of all ages are invited to wear their costumes one more time and the CRA volunteers will be on hand with candles for lighting and glow sticks for the kids.

Thanks to the City of Toronto for disposing of the pumpkins at the end of the evening. This Cabbagetown Resident’s Association event creates a display of over 300 pumpkins, sometimes more.
Hope to see you there, just one more reason to love Halloween!
The Cabbagetown Residents association will be accepting clothing & non-perishable food donations for Dixon hall at this event.
