Cabbagetown Holiday Kickoff!

cabbagetown-holiday-eventContributed by Lenka Gazova and Parliament St. News. The special Holiday season is upon us!  Join us in Cabbagetown- November 24th at the corner of Corner of Carlton and Parliament 12-3pm.

Our family tradition every year – as we head off to our first Christmas event! The Cabbagetown Holiday Kickoff!

Snapping thousands of photos and humming to Christmas songs.  We watch children excitedly whisper their wish list in Santa’s ear while having their special Christmas photo taken.  The kids decorate the tree with ornaments that they so carefully made. An enchanted horse drawn carriage ride tops off this special event.
Cabbagetown is such a charmed place as the Christmas decorations magically pop up everywhere. The wonderful store fronts filled with unique gifts and sweets. We see our first snow fall and excitedly making lists of things to bake, buy & gift.

The children enjoy the taste of sugar cookies and hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows with their little rosy checks, and thoughts of all that this fantastical season brings.
