Meredith-BIO-AdMeredith Cartwright is an accomplished human rights lawyer, businesswoman and advocate for Toronto Centre.
Meredith earned her law degree from Queen’s University and holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University. She has taught university-level courses at the University of Toronto and currently teaches at OCAD University.
Meredith is a strong advocate for women’s and children’s rights in law and health. As a businesswoman, Meredith has worked for over 20 years financing digital media, financial services, and resource and alternative energy companies. She serves as a managing director of two private equity corporations and has served on several boards.
A proud Torontonian, Meredith is a supporter of the Metropolitan Community Church, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto General Hospital, Women’s College Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.
Meredith has lived and worked in Toronto Centre with her partner Vicki and family for almost all of her life.
