When you live in Canada, every day is Canada Day. Like father’s day, I always joke that “every day is fathers Day kids”.  This adage is true for Canada too. Whatever you think of the local municipal, provincial or federal governments, we are all lucky to be living in Canada. So we should celebrate maybe a little more than ever this year because we don’t have to look too far to be reminded just how fortunate we are.
Let’s raise a glass, solo red cup or whatever you might drink out of, and say Happy Birthday Canada it’s been nice to know ya.

The paper is about people sharing stories and things of interest with the community.  If you are reading this than you get the point. Did I mention advertising? Don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out how you can connect with the community.
Putting together the paper and finding content can be a struggle. And then you see an artist like Morag Bee, above who captures the essence of Canada Day with her “Parliament” Illustration. Then it starts to flow. All of a sudden you get an incredible article from some new folks like Dee Hope and SJT Community Corner, and then Kathy Flaxman drops a great article about support workers and you realise …Ok, this is what it is all about.
