New decade, New year…

Contributed by Sarah Cook- Publisher.  New goals and adventures, and new opportunities!

Do you make “New Years resolutions”? Do you keep your new pledges to yourself? Or do you tell all your close friends and family?
Personally, I don’t make “New Years” declarations, instead, I make “New Season Goals”. Every “Spring” – and for me it’s February; I know that seems contradictive since it’s still snowing and cold in Toronto but having grown up in Victoria BC my internal clock still resets by mid February. Right now, BC is busy counting daffodils, gardening, and running around in their K-way jackets and Birkenstocks.

It’s a new decade, a fresh start- 2020! What are your big goals for the next chapter in your life? Will you take a epic trip you’ve been saving up for? Will you renovate your house, your bathroom, your garden? Will you spend more time with family and friends and not care what state your living room, or, for that matter, your hair is in.

I say Carpe Diem- Life is short! Buy the shoes, take the trip, drink it all in and experience as much as you possible can, when you can! Heck…we even have a whole extra day this year!

There’s a saying “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today” Benjamin Franklin. This goes for your dreams as well as goals!
