Contributed by Sarah Cook – Publisher — The Holidays always stir up wonderful memories of days gone by, when life was so carefree and innocent. There are certain songs, like; “It’s a Holly Jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year”- always a classic to get you in the spirit! My personal favourite Christmas movie is by far “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, the holiday classic originally debuted in 1964. This 2019 season, celebrating it’s 55th anniversary! What’s your favourite holiday movie?
After seeing Kendall and Co.’s Instagram post in early November I immediately realized the inspiration for my Publishers note; theeir charming felt renditions of Hermey, Yukon Cornelius the Abominable Snow Man, and of coarse Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I quickly ran to the store to buy all four of these whimsical characters. They’re all misfits, and yet, somehow, they all come together in the end…for one fabulous, Burl Ives narrated, funky, 60’s classic Movie!
I’m so comforted that I shopped as early as I did, as recently Kevin told me that all these little felt ornaments sold out two days after I was in. According to Kendall “the little TV that spins playing the music from the movie” sells out early every year!! So, if you see something you like in the window you better get in there and pick it up soon.
