THE CYC IS UNDER GOING A REBIRTH IN CABBAGETOWN

The Cabbagetown Youth Centre (“CYC”) has undergone a rebirth with the assistance of the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services, a new senior management team interested in promoting new opportunities for children and youth in the Cabbagetown, St James Town and Regent Park .
With new HVAC systems, gym lighting and improved handicapped accessibility our Centre is now more inclusive than ever!

The new Executive Director, Donald Gerrior, CPA, CA is excited about the ”great response from all of the Cabbagetown residents and in particular our youth and their families, who are benefiting from our facilities and programs”.

Donald reminds us that there is “so much more that needs to be done and it cannot be done without the support our local residents. The CYC is very thankful for all our sponsors who assist us with: soccer teams, lunches, performing arts, judo … but we are a hand to mouth organization. I encourage all localsto come by, say hello and see the great work being done by our fantastic staff and Toronto District School Board’s Focus on Youth program (FOY).
