The first Diagnostic Specific Peer Support group/ network for people with Schizophrenia in Canada. This was the first peer support group in the country also. There was nothing like it. Yes I started it. Everyone said not it won’t work. Now it is standard practice and the industry has taken it over. No funding in 15 years because we can’t afford to hire a fundraiser. In any event we are still going strong and meeting in kensington market weekly.
Visionaries are forgotten and ignored. Doesn’t matter to me. Still we are the only ones in the country doing it. The SSO is on our side. www.jordanstone27.com www.thesecrethandshake.ca
