laid back atmosphere + free drinks + brilliant people

Contributed by Chloe Kagan — Join Toronto’s tech nerds on the last Monday of each month!

HackerNest is an international nonprofit building in-real-life community for self proclaimed tech nerds around the world! Introverts and extroverts feel right at home thanks to their strict no-douchebag policy. It is no secret that tech is currently the biggest “bang for buck” industry out there. This often causes people to forget that no emoticon can replace the warmth of a firm, friendly handshake. Online is great, but up until the past decade or so, the entirety of human civilization has connected socially and built friendships through in-person interaction. Community is at the heart of HackerNest’s holistic, unpretentious approach to workforce empowerment.

It is the foundation from which all great growth and development will spring.
Check out upcoming events!
