Articles Contributed By

Contributed by Peter Lovering – Publisher of the Parliament Street News.

This edition I decided to put “contributed by Author or Photographers Name,” because I always get emails from angry disgruntled people complaining about the way things are written and telling me that there is not enough news. My goal of the Contributed by is to let everybody know that almost all of the content is contributed by readers and people that live in and around the Parliament Street Corridor.

Anybody can write anything they want. We only have one rule and that is: you can’t say anything bad about other people. We depend on all of you for content. In return we go out and approach local businesses for advertising. We then go out and pay for printing and people to deliver the paper and that is that. There is no agenda or political motivation of the Parliament Steet News. So lighten up complainers and send us an article. Have some fun.

Lastly all of the advertisers advertise because they like the paper and support the community. Without our local businesses, the BIA and associations the area would not be as interesting as it is. So let’s make a point of using their services, letting them know we saw their article and support their causes.
