I’ve been a professional comics artist for 25 years and in that time, I have appeared at comic conventions all over Canada and the United States, including Fan Expo here in Toronto and three times at the biggest show of them all, San Diego Comicon. I do a lot of work for these shows, but I am always happy to do individual commissions.
In recent years, I have become known for my humorous “mash-up” style. Mash-ups are basically a funny take on two different subjects that almost relate to each other, but would never normally be seen together. I’ve poked fun at everything from superheroes to politics and one of my most recent drawings is a combination of both. It is my re-creation of the cover of Captain America #1.
My wife Heather is a boxer and coach at the Cabbagetown Boxing Club. We have lived in and around the Cabbagetown area since 2003. We love this neighbourhood and will likely be here for years to come.
