A new store on Parliament

Contributed by Brittany Lodgson

Little House in the City is a new store on Parliament Street. We are Toronto’s first urban homesteading and sustainable living store. Whether making soap or sauerkraut, we provide the supplies and support for creative adventures in living fully at home while treading lightly on the earth. Little House celebrates local living, carrying both raw materials for a broad range of DIY projects as well as beautiful, ethically produced artisanal goods and crafts. We offer classes for adults and children, hands-on demonstrations, and events to help reclaim the skills and arts that ground a simple and sustainable lifestyle.

Currently we are offering kids yoga classes. Classes run Saturdays, November 8th – December 13th. Classes for 6-9 year olds run from 11:00 – 11:45 am and for 3-5 year olds from 12:00 – 12:30 pm. Drop in or register today! Please stop by for a visit at 555 Parliament Street!
