Learn How to Play Aussie Rules Football!

high-park-recruit-day-2016_WOMENJoin the High Park Demons and Learn How to Play Aussie Rules Football!
Pre-season training is in full swing for the High Park Demons Australian Football Club. What’s next on the agenda? Spring recruitment! The club will be hosting a recruitment day on March 5th from 3:30-5:00p.m. in the dome at Monarch Park Stadium (Coxwell and Danforth). The day will consist of club coaches running newbies through a variety of stations, teaching them the techniques of hand passing, kicking, shepherding, and maybe even bouncing! Never heard most of these terms? It seems you might be well placed to join in the fun!  The session is free and open to both men and women. Absolutely no experience is required since you’ll learn everything on the day. Just bring a healthy dose of enthusiasm and your sneakers or cleats! Prizes and refreshments to follow (Rails & Ales).
On March 13th the club takes part in a league-wide recruitment day. E-mail hpdemonsafc@gmail.com for more information.
