BOOK BANK – Doing Great Things

Contributed by Lbook-bankoribeth Gregg — “The Children’s Book Bank has been hard at work, distributing books to food banks and other essential services since mid-March. On May 13th, 20th and 27th, the Book Bank held curbside pickups in their outdoor stroller parking area, distributing over 3,000 books at each event. Now, the Book Bank is thrilled to announce its limited storefront opening on Tuesday, June 9 from 11am-2pm, and Wednesday, June 10 from 3pm-6pm. They will be monitoring public health announcements, so visit https://www.facebook.com/childrensbookbankcanada to confirm.

Looking for something to keep your kids reading over the summer? The Book Bank has moved its Summer Reading Program online! Starting on June 1st, kids ages 3-12 can read books from a list of genres, then post their thoughts on a private blog. Participants who read 10 or more books will receive a prize! Email bookbankreads@childrensbookbank.com to sign up.”
