Wrestling masks & Delicious food – El Charro

Contributed by Austin Lovering. A new restaurant has been started in Cabbagetown and its name is El Charro. My personal favorite thing to get there is the spicy chorizo tortas which is a sandwich but my sister always goes for the beef tacos.
In my day I have had lots of Mexican food and been to lots of Mexican restaurants but El Charro sticks out for a few reasons. First of all, the friendly welcoming and the fact that they already have the ground beef sizzling by the time we are paying is very nice and shows me that they remember and make friends out of their customers. Another thing that is really cool about this place is the Mexican painting and wrestling masks on the walls. Obviously and finally, the food. This place is an example of fast, real, delicious food if I ever saw one and that is what I’m looking for in a knick of time or when I just want a quick bite to eat.
El Charro is located at 582 Parliament St News
