Cabbagetown Youth Center- ‘STUCK’ Performing Arts Camp

CYC--stuck-performanceContributed by The Parliament Street News. Under the direction and mentorship of Monique Cain, the Cabbagetown Youth Centre’s Performing Arts Camp put on a stellar showcase production yet again.

 
On August 16, 2018, A multimedia dance, video, and acting package that showcased the talent of children living in the St. Jamestown, Cabbagetown neighbourhoods. “STUCK! As seen on the Big Screen” tells the story of a group of children who spontaneously get stuck inside of a television and go on a journey of self-discovery, lesson-learning, and amusement throughout the various networks and channels. From kids’ cartoons, sitcoms, and even major motion pictures, STUCK! Made everyone laugh, sing, and dance along … “STUCK! As seen on the Big Screen”.

 
The power of children and youth to build a showcase in less than 7 weeks speaks to the imagination and talent of our neighbourhood and we celebrate this success as we plan next year’s Showcase.
